Asher H. Nixon is a Sustainability Specialist based in Tempe, Arizona. He graduated Summa Cum Laude on the Dean's List from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University with a Bachelors degree in the Economics of Sustainability. Within his degree, Asher incorporated a related discipline of Environmental Rhetoric and Writing. Asher worked in education for 5 years as a paraprofessional, tutor, mentor, and teacher. Now, he offers Sustainability services with the goal of improving the lives of everyone he works with.
Asher's career goals are to empower people, schools, and organizations to embrace Sustainability and find a better path forward. Asher's skills allow for a unique level of analysis, attention, and efficacy in his work. Asher aims to dedicate all his tools to every project, workshop, or consultation and reach a satisfactory end result or deliverable. On a personal level, Asher tries to practice empathy and mindfulness, allowing for people their space to grow, make mistakes, and learn. Above all, Asher values education and lifelong learning for all.
Asher's hobbies and interests include cooking, baking, bowling, coding, game design, competitive esports, shout casting, art, and animals. He likes to find joy in everything around him, and loves to take a chance on new opportunities. In the past, Asher made his own games, reached the top 1% of ranked players in multiple titles, and was on a competitive bowling league. Currently, Asher is a shout caster for Amateur League of Legends Esports, creates art with digital and physical mediums, cooks at least 3 times a week, and owns a Roborovski Dwarf Hamster. All of these unrelated experiences influenced Asher's drive, competitive nature, and resilience.
